in the Dominican Republic

Bob is a "homegrown Carmel boy," originally from Gum Tree, VA, who found his way to Haiti in 1982 to teach Bible and theology to church leaders in remote areas of the island.  He had recently graduated from Washington Bible College, Lanham, MD and was drawn back to the island where he had spent a summer as a missionary intern.

Judy, who hails from Tyler, Texas, received her BSN from Texas Women's University.  She spent a summer as a missionary intern in Mexico, and went to Haiti in 1985 eager to work as a missionary nurse in a small mission hospital on the north coast of the island.

They married May 25, 1991 and served together for 12 years on the Island of LaTortue, off Haiti's north coast.  In 2003, they moved to the Dominican Republic where they work with Haitian University students and the Dominican church.

They would love to hear from you!
