Pastor Steve & Angela Nelson

Steve Nelson began his ministry with our congregation in September 1999.  He and his wife, Angela, were married May 28, 1994. They have three daughters, Anna, 11, Sarah, 8, and Rachel Faith, who lives in heaven.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Church Ministries from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.  In 1999, he achieved Master of Divinity at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Pastor Steve's interests include spending time with his family, raising goats and chickens, and finding ways to make "junk" useful!  And he always loves a good joke!

The Lord has blessed both Pastor Steve and Angela with the gift of music.  Each week, they lead our earlier worship time with high energy, more contemporary songs, as well as traditional favorites.  The Lord is truly glorified by their music ministry!

That's right - he received his One Lane Bridge lapel pin from Walt Williams at our 2008 Fall Revival Services, making him one of only a select few to receive this invitation!  Congratulations Pastor Steve!
